The Billetworkz Short Shifter Transmission Plate is a direct replacement for the factory shifter plate, engineered to deliver a more precise and performance-driven shifting experience. By altering the pivot points, it reduces shift throw by 35%, giving you shorter, quicker gear changes without compromising comfort.
Designed with a slightly heavier weight than stock, this plate is counterweighted at 935 grams to balance out the reduced throw, resulting in smoother, more ergonomic shifts.
Fits: 2015+ Subaru WRX and 2018+Crosstrek (Will not fit STI).

Had the kart-boy short throw shifter plate and I hated it you have to force it into gear all the time cause it has no weight to it replaced it with billetworkz short throw shifter plate and it’s night and day it just slides into gear so nice don’t wast your money on the kart-boy billetworkz is the only way to go

Purchased the shift plate with the bushing. It feels so much better than stock. An absolute night & day difference. Shifting feels more accurate and shorter for sure. Very happy with the shift plate and bushing.

Great way to improve the feel of the shifter. Did the plate, bushing, and shift stop and wow what a big difference. Shifts are shorter, more precise, way less slop. Install was easy with exception of one tricky bolt at the top of the stock plate shield. Love this mod!

Easy to install besides skipping through the tutorial video skipped over only 3 seconds and miss important part lmao. But it is so nice also have the lockout, bushing, and plate. And it is so smooth and nice now!!! Love it

Ordered this a few weeks ago, but I finally got around to it because I finally got time and an empty bay at work. This is by far the BEST short throw shift kit I’ve ever owned. I’ve had quite a few short throw kits, but this one maybe the shortest and best feeling. It seemed intimidating at first, but just follow their videos on their YouTube channel. This is a must have if you daily drive and/or spirited driving on the weekends.
