Easy enough to install myself, great weight and feel over the stock knob. Will sure be better Lauren with a short throw kit, just waiting to install that

I recently bought a 2019 WRX. I love driving it, but I instantly did not like how loose the stock shifter was. Did some digging and found BilletWorkz. Best mod, easiest install! 👍👍

This was for dual purposes, keeping the shifter warm/cool and having a little fun. Good quality.

Feels excellent in my hand. The bare finish feels better than my previous powder coated stainless shift ball (even though I really like that shift ball also) This ball also doesn't get as cold in the winter or as hot in the summer. A+

Was a bit hesitant at first. My wife bought me the black Billetworkz globe shift knob with the Japanese numbers. Really improved the shift feel with the heavier mass. I wanted to add more red accents to the car interior and saw the 2-inch extender. Install was flawless, just a little playing with the rotation on the locking nut/insert and some thread lock and it looked great....
...but wow it looked taller than I imagined! But one drive and I was sold. I'm really long legged, and never noticed how much I'm slightly twisting to shift (been driving manual cars for 40 years). So much nice now, and shift feel is even better. Timing took a few drives to get used to, but with the.shift knob higher you get a bit of a rally car sequential shift feel to it.
Really love the product, finish is excellent, end result beyond what I needed!

Installed the Billetworkz shift-knob hoodie and I can confirm this is the most ridiculous mod that somehow makes perfect sense!

My GR86 shift knob now has:
Sun Protection
Scratch Protection
A better wardrobe than I do.

It also solves the problem of grabbing a shift knob that's been baking in the New Mexico sun.

Completely unnecessary. Absolutely love it.

Heavy and high quality

Great upgrade from stock. Oem piece would rattle and vibrate the shifter. Made it feel like the trans was grinding. This piece is solid and exceeded my expectations with how quiet it is.

easy to view and simple to purchase

I wasn't sure about the piston shape since I have always had either the light bulb or round shift knobs in the past. This fits the hand nicely and the finish is great. Love the color scheme, excellent when the sun reflects off it. Added a hoodie to keep from freezing or burning.
