I couldn’t be happier with the Billetworkz Alcantara shift boot and trim removal tool. The Alcantara shift boot is a huge upgrade over the factory piece—the material feels premium, the stitching is flawless, and the fit is absolutely perfect. It completely transformed the interior of my GR86 and gives it a much more refined, high-end look.

Worked great to get the trim pieces off with no scratches. I needed thesw for a few other mods I have planned so I went ahead and got the kit for the e-boot install and the shifter ‘cover’ install.

GR86 weighted shift knob and short, throw shifter

I recently installed the weighted shift knob and short throw shifter, and overall I’m very impressed. The build quality is excellent, and both components feel solid and well-engineered. The weighted knob adds a smoother, more precise feel to each shift, while the short throw shifter noticeably tightens up the shifting experience without feeling notchy or harsh.

Installation was fairly straightforward and manageable with basic tools, making it a great upgrade even for someone with moderate DIY experience. The end result significantly improves driving engagement and feel. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade.
