All Subaru Auto CVT Shift Knobs are designed to replace the oem shift knob.
We designed a lockout system to replace the integrated factory shift knob button. This lockout system is superior by keeping the shift knob in a fixed position, rather than having to lift up on the shift knob to shift into gear like competitors (an undesirable safety concern). Having the shift knob in a fixed position also eliminates annoying rattle.
To engage reverse and drive, simply lift up on the lockout to shift to the desired gear. The spring loaded lockout will return to position to eliminate accidental movement.
These custom anodized shift knobs are truly one-of-a-kind. Each shift knob is polished to a mirror finish before anodizing. During the anodizing process, all color combinations are done by hand using an intensive technique. The anodizing process builds a strong layer making the shift knobs extremely durable and scratch resistant.
Shift patterns and logos are permanently marked using a laser engraver.

This sphere is beautiful. It coordinates perfectly with the red accents of my WRX. It looks much better than the OEM shift knob. The product has a good weight, the finish is perfectly smooth, the color is vibrant, and the Auto CVT Adaptor appears to be excellent quality.
