Installation Guide

We recommend using 3M Black Super Weatherstrip and Gasket Adhesive (available at auto stores or Amazon)

Alternative: Headliner/upholstery spray adhesive

  • Apply small amounts of adhesive to sections at a time
  • Secure with binder clips while working around the bracket
  • Allow 20 minutes cure time before removing clips

Shift knob + matching e-brake boot

The OEM leather boots in my car were starting to flake and look worn and these replacement boots really upgraded the look of my interior! The fabric is a durable canvas like fabric (at least that's what it feels like to me lol) and install was pretty simple. Just have to pop a few trim pieces out, remove the old boots and make sure you have some 3M spray or other adhesive on hand when you're doing it to adhere the new ones on. Definitely be gentle when removing these trim pieces, as there are some thinner, more fragile, trim pieces...or end up braking your e-brake boot assembly like me (oops - 100% operator error and not Billetworkz lol). Nothing a little JB weld/super glue could't fix though! :)

I haven’t yet installed my shift knob but it looks legit and feels great! My ‘05 WRX is getting and JDM EJ205 swap but as soon as it’s all finished up, this mod will make the interior feel more home-y! Can’t wait.

93' 240SX SE Super HICAS

Installed an absolutely GORGEOUS Candy Bronze Weighted shiftknob with black marble shift boot on top of a B&M performance short shifter. The shift boot black pigment could be much darker but, it's a shift boot and looks great for our current vision. The only reason for 4 stars is Covid (Int'l order, staffing, shipping, etc...). Although the order took almost 3 months to finalize (Order placed 3-Jun-20, received 27-Aug-20) Thx Billetworkz!
