Good alternative to replacing shifter assembly.

If you're like me and many other Chevy Cruze owners, you'll wear out the leather on your shift knob after around 80k miles. The 2013 Cruze's and after all have press fit knobs that you can't easily find a replacement for. Chevy wanted me to replace the whole shifter assembly which would run me around $400 and only last another 80k miles. The Billetworkz knob I ordered has a secure fitment (sleeve with 4 set screws that allows for a threaded connection). After the pain and suffering to get the existing knob off, the new Billetworkz knob installed in about 5 minutes. The new knob is weighted and feels like a dream to shift! I'm sad I didn't find this earlier. My only concern is it is aluminum so in cold days I will need to use gloves to drive it. Aluminum is a heat sink, so it'll be freezing cold to the touch. Overall, it looks sick, is a good solution for the press fit Chevy Cruze, and I'm happy I found it. Nice work Billetworkz!

Solid Product!

Purchased a solid matte black short teardrop knob for a 2014 Cruze - fits perfectly, and is clearly a well manufactured knob that will last. Excellent finish; smooth, uniform color with no blemishes and feels perfectly rounded for the palm of my hand. Overall, worth every dollar.
