Perfect! 2012 Chevy Cruze

Stock shifter knob was worn. Surprised to find a knurled post instead of threaded. Wtf. My amazon $10 replacement was useless. Thought I’d be replacing whole shifter assembly now. Put some tape on old one and sulked for week or two. Removing old one was a bit of a process as it just kept spinning, took out my dewalt oscillating tool and gently cut through shifter knob ONLY, although I did nick the shaft a smidge. I had Chevy years ago replace knob , but they probably did entirely assembly can’t remember. I came across Billetworkz and my life changed forever! Spent the $100 on knob pricey yes, but now it was about winning and losing. This thing came faster than a Jimmy John’s! I thought they put rocks in box as it was oddly heavy. This knob was precious, beautiful, and even better? The ADAPTOR you’ll need for knurled post. This thing is bad ass and I’d cut a perfectly good shifter knob just to have this one! Feel like driving a new car for $100!
The adapter or adaptor will s fastened by I think 5/32 Allen, I forgot though. You may have to adjust height and spin a time or two to get numbers centered. Didn’t use any lock-tight, wouldn’t advise as you may make adjustments. This thing again. Badass! Thanks Billet!

Perfect for a 2013 Chevy Cruze

This knob(+adapter kit) perfectly fits my 2013 Chevy Cruze Manual Transmission which had a press fit assembly. Since the original OEM shifter imploded I have been looking for the perfect shifter knob replacement. I have found it. Unlike my experiences with other universal shifter knobs this one will work with the reverse shifter lockout. AND it looks great. This is a 10/10 purchase, and I would highly recommend this to any other Cruze owner that has a similar issue. Installation note you will likely need BLUE loctite and a Hex key set and I personally was able to use the OEM shifter lockout spring when installing this replacement knob.

Be sure to check out the Knob Beanie, it beats using an oven mitt to drive during the summer months!
