Bought the Evil M jap shift knob with retainer & a new shift boot and let me tell you they are worth every penny. The knob is a bit heavier than I expected but feels great in my hand. The boot fit nicely and with the retainer I was about to maintain a factory look. I could not be any happier with my purchase!!

The smoothness of the shift knob was very nice to the touch. The weight of the knob also gave shifting a little more occasion, almost like it deserved a little fanfare with each upshift or downshift. Very satisfactory, would recommend to others.

I wanted a heavier shift knob that was a slightly lower profile than my other shift knob so I decided to get the piston version of this. The quality is superb and shifting in my car is a joy. I highly recommend this product!
You may need an adapter since there is some threads show between the shift boot and the knob when you install. These are fairly easy and cheap to buy, just look up "shift boot adapter"

I bought this knob to replace the one the previous owner of my car had installed. The threads were made of plastic and broke when I was tightening it (it kept coming undone), so I had to deal with a freely spinning shift knob until I bought this. This shift knob looks amazing and feels like it'll never break on me! I got the jam nut aligned just right and I get compliments on my shift knob whenever I go out and show it off. It's got the perfect weight and has made my shifting a lot smoother. Recommended the site to my friends who are looking at getting a new shift knob because I really do love it!
My only gripe I have(which might be a QC thing) is that there's a very little metal nipple at the top of my knob. It's small and doesn't get in the way at all, but it was the first thing I noticed when I received it. Might just be me since the advertised picture doesn't have one.
