Billetworkz Short Shifter – GR Corolla 2023+ / Corolla Hatchback 2019+

Installed this in my 2014 Corolla (Toyota has used the same shifter assembly for a while) and it's an absolute game changer. Feels like a totally different vehicle now. I did have to use a Dremel to trim away a bit of the assembly to smooth out reverse, but it was barely any extra work. Simple and fun install!

This short shifter works like a dream. The color is a little bit darker in person but still love it nun the less. The kit has every thing you would need and it fit I think better the OEM. Over all the shifter performs better than I thought it would and very happy with it. The only thing that you really need to make sure you have is a set of snap ring pliers before you start the install. I really think that every stick shift should came with this type of shifter. I will be a customer for life thanks everyone at Billetworkz.

I had trouble finding time to install it, but when I did it was amazing. The throws are short, but also, the notchiness of the shifter makes me more confident in my shifts. With the OEM shifter I would miss gears sometimes. I also noticed my clutch feels way better, and second doesn't grind as bad. Overall a great product!

I’m not typically the type to leave reviews, but feel this purchase deserves one. First I’ll say that I ordered this shifter and it arrived very quickly. I started the install on a Saturday, got everything back together and car would not go in reverse. Took it back apart and looked everything over and had trouble figuring out why the reverse lockout collar would not raise enough to go into reverse. There are 0 instructions in the package, only a business card that gives you a QR code to scan for instructions and when you follow that link you have to pick your make/model. They don’t have any Toyota’s listed so I’m SOL. I watched billetworkz installation video which was somewhat helpful but did not allude to what the problem was. Thankfully I found another persons install video and could see that billetworkz sent me the wrong reverse lockout collar. I contacted them on Easter Sunday and the owner of the company replied that same day. He promptly got the correct part shipped out and I’m back in business. My only real gripe is that my car was unusable for almost a week and while they did respond with apologies VERY quickly, and shipped the correct part out, I kind of expected them to try to retain me as a future customer and offer a reason to make another purchase. All good though, and I absolutely love the shifter. Makes it feel like a whole different animal. Great shifter. Would have given 5* if it wasn’t for being without a car for almost a week without offering something for my troubles(coming from someone also in customer service, I absolutely would have). Communication is 10/10.

Works great. Doesn’t feel like you’re driving a truck anymore. Installation was smooth. Highly recommend
