Installation Guide

READ THIS REVIEW IF YOU DRIVE A FORESTER

SPECIFICALLY READ THIS REVIEW IF YOU HAVE A 2014-2018 FORESTER XT. The original e-brake button on my vehicle was NOT threaded so the button WILL NOT NOT WORK for Foresters. Not sure if it is like this for all Foresters, or just the XTs. I found this out the hard way. I followed the instructions in the install video and used vice grips on my e-brake button to try and remove in and instead completely snapped off the button along with the metal that connects it. I am most likely going to have to buy a new entire e-brake assembly (about $130) unless I can figure out a way to rig the button to make it work... I can't use the original button since I destroyed it in the vice grips, so I sawed it in half to see if it was threaded or not (see photos). I hate to leave a 1 star review because the brake handle and button are beautiful, but I need this review to stand out so no one makes the same mistake I did, and I would be lying if I said I'm not extremely disappointed that this happened and now I can't even use what I bought AND my car is broken now.

Custom E-Brake Handle is everything I didn't know I needed

When looking at the drop-down option for custom e-brake handles I didn't see the option for the rainbow glitter to match the shift knob I previously purchased. I reached out to customer service and they were more than happy to help me place my custom order. I installed it yesterday along with the neon yellow button and it all looks amazeballs. Quality is on point. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Easy and Beautiful Upgrade!

I ordered a custom E-Brake button in candy bronze to match my shift knob for my WRX. It is a very easy install and looks fantastic! Much nicer than the plastic chrome button. I highly recommend Billetworkz!

E brake button

I ordered a E brake button for my 2018 Subaru CrossTrek in Candy blue. It’s awesome it matches my shift knob perfect. The quality is fantastic the ease of install was great and the feel of it is comfortable. Plus the customer service is outstanding. Wonder recommend this company 100%!!!!!
