This is my second shift knob from billetworkz. I also ordered a matte black reverse lockout. Installing the reverse lockout made it possible for me to use the sphere shaped knob I ordered and any other shapes in the feature. These knobs feel so much better than stock and makes your shifts feel so intentional. Will be definitely ordering the piston shape in the near future.

The look and fell and over all build looks amazing. I gave it to my performance shop to install on my shot throw. Haven’t gotten the car back yet to try it out.

Good quality for money and improves driving experience with a more weighted shifter

Recently purchased a 2023 Mustang GT in Atlas Blue. I ordered the blue cosmic space sphere shift knob and a matte black reverse lockout. The reverse lockout install was fairly simple following the video provided by Billetworkz however I did run into a slight issue after installing the lockout. The threaded insert that comes with the shift knob I was sent was incorrect in size so it wouldn't fit my shifter rod. It appears I was sent a threaded adapter for a GT350 (M10x1.25) instead of a GT (M12x1.25). I contacted Billetworkz on a Friday afternoon and was taken care of quickly and they shipped out the proper part on Monday which arrived a few days later. With the incorrect threaded insert, I had to use my stock shift knob which couldn't sit snug due to the change in the reverse lockout so I had to deal with my stock shifter knob being free spinning until the new insert came in. Note, it takes some playing around with the threaded adapter, set screw, and shift knob to get it lined up almost perfect but fairly easy. I'd recommend making sure the threaded insert you were sent fits prior to going through the work to install the reverse lockout.

Now that the shift knob is installed, it's beautiful.

I really do like the shift knob. It's honestly beautiful and well made. It wasn't very difficult to install, just a couple adjustments to get it correctly centered.

My only complaint was I was expecting it to be a little bigger in my head and little heavier. The STI short throw knob feels way heavier..... but isn't a real detriment to my overall feel.

Great quality, engraving is so clean and love weight it has. No issues at all easy install and great way to spice up your interior!! Highly recommend

Hybrid (weighted) blue cosmic space. Love it. The weight changes the feel of the shifter entirely. Really dig the understated blue color & splotches on the blue cosmic space! Hybrid shape is a little big for average hands, but the shifts are so easy with the extra weight, I definitely don't need to grip the entire knob. Very easy installation - if you've ever used a wrench, you can do it!

Just arrived yesterday, installed today. I’m impressed with the quality and it looks so nice! Feels good in the hand, too. I partly got it because I wanted to try a heavier shift knob but was surprised at the weight of the stock knob when I took it off. Weighed it: 200g vs the new (tall teardrop) knob at 250g. So probably not a noticeable difference weight-wise, but it feels so nice in my hand! I’m installing a short-throw shift plate, brass bushing, and shift stop next week—the knob was meant to be icing on the cake—so I’m really looking forward to the upgraded shifting experience, visually represented by the racing heartbeat shift motif!
