Installation was relatively straightforward, especially with the YouTube videos provided. If you have a VW be prepared to potentially scrape up the skin on your hands while trying to pry/basically break off the plastic part to get the OEM knob off ha besides that- nothing to it!
Everything needed is included in the box, BESIDES a hex wrench (it was a goofy size between a 2 & 2.5mm hex, so I had to go purchase a set that would fit). Very happy with my purchase!

Retainer functions as expected, good quality and add a bit of visual flare. Helps in adding additional way to hide the boot tuck.
Wish it was round all the way though. The flat sides does cause the boot to bunch up a bit, took some time to adjust.

If I had 1 thing I would love better is for the knob to be slightly bigger in size and have the option to be textured matte black like the voodoo knob I used to have in my Miata but the feeling is amazing. It does sit lower which I love and almost makes it feel like I have a short shifter.
