6 Speed Velocity - Weighted - Mini Fitment

Th knob is great the wife loves it in her mini. However the instructions and other youtube I watch were not exactly working well.
The only suggestion I have is if you are installing one of these in a mini and want a better fit.
Removel of the plastic retainer for the stock shifter knob. The leather boot will stay where you want it and NOT fall down when shifting from 5 to 6

This is solid and well finished.btye weight is sweet. It is crazy what such a simple thing can change about driving. It is simply smoother. The only drawback I can see so far is the temprature. It is summer and this knob was cold under my hand this morning. Winter will be interesting. I may need one of those little hoodies next.

Love the look of it, i went with a piston shaped to try something different from the usual ball. Billetworkz included the adapter to make this work for my 2017 f55. Install was simple and definitely easier with 2 people. The knob is beautiful catches the light just right. Its sits a bit taller than the stock and thats great in my mini! Shifting is much much smoother. For real SO MUCH ANOTHER. I am MORE than satisfied with my purchase and strongly suggest you try these out. Absolutely worth the price, great product.

I’d spent a few weeks looking around to see what my options were, I’d gone with Cravenspeed for some upgrades for another car I’d owned and thought they would be perfect for this car. I’d also seen this one already on the same year car I own. Well, to start, they answered questions I had within a reasonable time. It didn’t take long for it to come and when I opened the package I was very happy with my choice even before I’d opened it up. The box they packed it in reminded me of how Apple sends out their products, well thought of and not something you throw away. Ok, now to the shifter, it was well made, fit so much better in my hand and the weight was ideal. It comes with some set screws and an aluminum shaft to mount it. I took off the stock shifter ball, put in the set screws, screwed the shifter down and set it where I wanted it, tightened up the two set screws, removed the ball, tightened up the remaining screws and I felt safe as houses. Ike me is looking at fitment, because every year is different, that it tells you that this will fit all years. It also sits slightly higher as well, this is a good thing.

This was the first thing I decided to change on my Mini, and I must say, it was definitely worth the price. It has a great in hand feel and the weight makes shifting so much smoother than it was stock. Over all, I say it was a worthwhile purchase, and you should consider getting one as well.

The shift knob is amazing i got the tall teardrop it looks great and makes shifting a breeze, perfect shift every time. The only issue i had was the sizing put the boot back over the attachment, i didn't get any other sizings to make it fit. I hope they can make this right for me, maybe i was supposed to get defferent sizings in the box and never got them. Please help 🙏

I actually ordered the light bulb 6 speed knob but received the sphere 6 speed knob. Still a nice product.
