Our Ford Mustang Automatic Adaptor allows fitment for Billetworkz Shift Knobs on your 2015-14 Automatic GT, EcoBoost and V6Mustang (Excluding GT350 & GT500).
We designed a lockout system to replace the integrated factory shift knob button. This lockout system is superior by keeping the shift knob in a fixed position, rather than having to push down on the shift knob to shift into gear like competitors (a safety concern and undesirable movement when manually shifting). Having the shift knob in a fixed position also eliminates annoying rattle.
To engage reverse and drive, simply push down on the lockout to shift to the desired gear. The spring loaded mechanism will return to position to eliminate accidental movement.
Our Automatic Adaptors utilize a 12x1.25mm shift knob thread. Shift Knobs from competitors may fit, but not guaranteed (depends on the opening in the bottom of the shift knob).
Machined from 6061 aluminum and anodized for a durable and vibrant finish.
The shifter was an easy install and looks and works just like it's supposed to.
It went in my woman's 21 premium GT, and she couldn't be happier!
She even told me today that the push down lock out mechanism is more user friendly and intuitive than the factory original.

Got a machined aluminum knob for my Dark Horse and a weighted black ball for my GT. They look a feel great! Also added the manual shift trim to clean up the look.
