Experience smoother, more controlled gear changes with a Billetworkz Weighted Shift Knob. Crafted for drivers who value both performance and style, each knob is CNC‑machined from 304 stainless steel, thoroughly cleaned, and powder‑coated for a durable, long‑lasting finish.

Heavy‑weight construction adds momentum to your shifts, making gear changes feel effortless and precise — perfect for daily driving or spirited performance.

The automatic adapter replaces the factory shift knob button with a fixed-position lockout system—providing a cleaner, safer, and more stable shifting experience. Unlike other setups that require pressing down on the shift knob itself, our design keeps the knob locked in place, eliminating unwanted movement and interior rattle.

To shift into reverse or drive, simply press down on the spring-loaded lockout collar. It smoothly returns to its original position after use, preventing accidental gear changes and enhancing driving confidence.

  • The adaptor is CNC-machined from premium 6061 aluminum
  • Comes in multiple finishes (Black, Red, and Blue)
  • Threaded for 12x1.25mm shift knobs (Billetworkz knobs guaranteed to fit; third-party knobs may vary based on bore size)

Tall tear drop

Shifting is a breeze more of a substantial knob then Vws anemic factory knob . I paired it with a bfi leather knob and my shifts are exactly how I want them to be with the diesel geek short shifter kit/king pin it all flows together perfectly

I installed the shift knob with matching boot retainer today. It looks great and feels comfortable in hand. It has a very smooth sparkling blue metalflake finish that closely matches the car’s Arctic blue body paint. Delivery was quick and the installation videos were helpful. A good experience overall.

Two Thumbs Up. Yes, I would recommend it to a friend.

I got this for my new 2024 VW GTI with the manual transmission. The difference in feel between this weighted ball shift knob and the original plastic knob is surprising. It fits better in the hand, feels better to the touch, and because of its design, actually shortens the shifter shaft a bit, effectively shortening the throw. Plus it just looks great.

Installation was simple and straightforward, just watch the video they provide.
