Billetworkz Titanium Torched Shift Knob - Subaru 5-Speed

Product looks and functions exactly as advertised. Perfect weight, shape and size; comfortably fits both my (6'2", male) and my wife's (5'5", female) hands. Powder coat is perfect, feels great to hold. Gets hot in direct sunlight as expected, but not problematically so - I worried that the solid metal would be like shifting with a curling iron in summer, but it doesn't feel significantly hotter to hold than the stock faux leather.
Arrived on time, installation directions were accurate, replacing the stock knob with Billetworkz took five minutes, only used a single 17mm spanner and actually could have done it toolless.

Perfect Upgrade. It looks great and makes my shifts feel so much better. I didn't really believe that a weighted shift knob would make shifting feel better but it's true. Installation wasn't exactly as their video described, but it was still pretty straightforward.

I got the lightbulb style weighted shifter for a 5 Speed Subaru impreza for my wife. She absolutely loves it! I am getting myself one for my WRX!
Shipping took a little longer but given the quality I did not mind.

Outstanding! It looks phenomenal in the XVm ordered white, and it is a nice snowy white. Feels perfect at 650g. Didn't solve my shifting issue but that isn't the shifters fault. Will definitely shop with Billetworkz again in future.

I don't know if maybe I'm crazy or weak, but this is the point that the knob wants to tighten at. I don't think it's supposed to go any further, since it's probably at the end of the threads either on the shifter or the thread insert. is there anyway to adjust this?

First time purchasing anything from the aftermarket for my vehicle, specifically centered around the driving experience. I was unsure of all the varieties offered which one would fit my shifting preference yet I was surprised when I received the Piston in the mail. Since I also acquired the 2in extension along with the knob I wasn’t sure how it would all play out. After fitting everything up and taking my first drive with it I noticed immediately how much more refined and direct my shifting felt. Since I’ve adopted the side grip preference the piston fits that style perfectly. Well machined, excellent coating, and the well defined markings. Top notch product to which I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for something unique and well crafted to personalize their ride.

This knob is very nice. The color pattern is very well added. The size and weight feel very good.

Typically, these types of designs are often tacky, however, this one is actually very subtle and nice to look at. The feel of the shifter has certainly improved, and even though it is more prone to being affected by the temperature outside since it is metal, it still feels like a vast improvement to the stock shifter that was old and a little too light for me. The bar was low since I needed to replace the old one, but this definitely was much better than I could have even hoped for!

Quick shipping with a very nice product. I wasn’t sure what the knob would feel like or the quality. But it is a perfect product. It feels/looks great. I would recommend getting one of the beanies they sell if you live in a colder climate however. Learned the hard way and may need to spend a little more money to get one to save my hand

This shift knob shifts pretty good. It fits well. Its a little large for the boot. But it looks neat.
I got to drive my car for 10 minutes with this shifter before my idler cam gear exploded and sent my timing with it. I need a new motor. :')
