Upgrade your Subaru’s interior and shifting feel with the Billetworkz CVT Shift Knob Adapter—engineered to work with most factory automatic CVT shifter assemblies from 2015 to 2025.
This precision-machined adapter replaces the factory shift knob button with a custom spring-loaded lockout system. Unlike competitor designs that require lifting or pressing on the knob itself (leading to instability and unwanted movement), our fixed-position setup keeps your knob secure, eliminates rattle, and delivers a clean, confident shifting experience.
To shift into reverse or drive, simply lift the lockout collar. The spring-loaded mechanism returns automatically to position, reducing accidental shifts and maintaining a polished look.
Important Fitment Note:
Before adding to cart, please select both a color and whether your vehicle has a factory shift boot.
The adapter design differs slightly based on this option to ensure proper fit and finish.
Not sure if your Subaru has a factory shift boot?
Vehicles with a shift boot will have a leather or synthetic sleeve surrounding the shift lever, typically tucked into the center console trim. If your shift lever is fully exposed with no boot, select “No.”

I absolutely adore this shift knob! It has a more race-like appearance compared to the stock one. The installation process was incredibly straightforward. I managed to change the shift knob in just about 5 minutes. This upgrade has given me a renewed sense of excitement and enthusiasm for driving on the road!
