The Short Teardrop shape provides an OEM‑style fit with the factory reverse lockout. All other shapes (Sphere, Lightbulb, Tall Teardrop, Piston, and Sledge) we highly recommend a the Billetworkz Reverse Lockout Adapter to eliminate the gap caused by the factory reverse lockout.
If you'd like to upgrade from the factory reverse lockout, then purchase our Billetworkz Reverse Lockout (Reverse Lockout Adaptor not needed)!

Got the light bulb style knob for a bit more height, l definitely like the feel more compared to the stock knob, l will probably purchase a tall teardrop version with the coyote etched on the sides at a later date

Was worried the tall tear drop would be too tall but i needed some height.
My S550 has a Steeda short throw in it and with the stock knob, it was too low and uncomfortable.
The feel and look of this shifter with the Billetworkz reverse lockout is perfect!

My new GT350 Mustang shift knob is just outstanding!!! I’m so impressed at how beautifully crafted the shift knob is made. It’s heavy but not overly heavy. The thing fits perfectly in my hand and the car shifts smoother now than it did with the stock shift knob. The knob came well packaged and with everything I needed to do the insulation. It shipped very fast. I haven’t experienced the heat issues or shifting in reverse issues with this knob. I’m completely happy with my new shift knob!!!
