Customize your 2015+ Ford Mustang with a Billetworkz Shift Knob!
Please note that due to the oversized factory reverse lockout, only the Short Teardrop shape will achieve an OEM fit. For all other shapes (Sphere, Lightbulb, Tall Teardrop, Piston, Sledge) we recommend our Mustang Reverse Lockout OR Reverse Lockout Adaptor for more precise fitment. This is because all other shapes need to sit slightly higher to provide adequate reverse lockout clearance, which creates a small gap between the base of the knob and the lockout.
Any shape ordered with a GT Logo, other than the Short Teardrop, CANNOT be returned or exchanged.
Heavy-weight shift knobs allow for smooth and effortless shifting. Each knob is CNC machined, properly cleaned, and powdercoated.

First off, I ordered “grey” which is more like silver. They didn’t have a picture of it in Greg. I got it hoping to match my grey mustang with black stripes. Second it was very difficult to put on with a wider screw piece and nut that goes on it? I hope I didn’t strip anything putting it on. Lastly (and the worst part) since it is heavy steel, it gets EXTREMELY hot if you park it for a couple hours in the sun. I keep my old one for this purpose…to change them out so I can shift without a glove or something. I think it would have looked really good had I ordered it in black, but then there’s still the heat issue. I would just keep the stock, but the previous owner must have been fidgeting and torqued it slightly too much bc it’s slightly off. Looking elsewhere for shifters.
Huge upgrade to the default shifter knob in my 2024 Mustang GT
I was skeptical that a weighted shift knob was going to make a difference in the feeling of shifting. I was wrong. The transitions are much smoother with the added momentum behind weighted shifters. I went with the ball shift choice. It was a tad bit smaller then I thought it was going to be, but the knobe is as beautifully painted and engraved as advertised.
Got the light bulb style knob for a bit more height, l definitely like the feel more compared to the stock knob, l will probably purchase a tall teardrop version with the coyote etched on the sides at a later date
